Joseph Brett Monk, 55 of Athens, Alabama, died Thursday, June 25, 2020 at his residence.
Mr. Monk was born February 9, 1965 in Limestone County, he was a member of First Baptist Church in Tanner and was employed by Lowe’s of Madison.
There will be a 1pm Graveside Service Monday at Roselawn Cemetery with Dr. Gary Enfinger and Darryl Brooks officiating. Spry Funeral Home in Athens is assisting the family.
Due to concerns of the Covid 19 virus no visitation is planned, family ask those who attend the Graveside Service to maintain social distancing.
Church Family will serve as pallbearers.
Survivors: Father, Cecil D. Monk of Athens. Step-Mother, Marjorie Turner Monk of Athens. Brothers, Don (Lynne) Monk of Hoover, AL and Brad (Michelle) Monk f Hoover, AL. Nephews, Zackery Monk, Griffin Monk and Jacob Monk all of Hoover, AL. Host of Friends and Relatives.
Preceded in death by: Mother, Mary Katherine Pratt Monk, Grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. O.E. Pratt, Mr. & Mrs. Virgil Monk.
