Bobby Nell Mcguire 89, of Athens passed away on Friday
February 18, 2022.
Service will be 2PM Tuesday at Spry Funeral Home.
Visitation
will be Monday from 6PM until 8 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in New
Salem Cemetery.
He was born January 25, 1933 to Robert and Sarah McGuire. He
was a long time cabinet maker and wood worker.
He is survived by Daughters:
Marcia Thomas (Duane) and Nancy Pierce, Sons: Mark McGuire and Darrell McGuire
(Maria), Grandchildren: Lance McGuire (Allison), Brandy McGuire, Seth Pierce
and Blake Pierce (Jasmine), one Great Granddaughter: Madysen McGuire, Sisters:
Mildred Lambert and Ruth Mitchell (Jerry). Several Nieces and Nephews.
He was
preceded in death by his wife of 53 years Christine Kyle McGuire, his parents
and several brothers and sisters. Pallbearers will be, Mark McGuire, Darrell
McGuire, Lance McGuire, Seth Pierce, Blake Pierce and Jimmy McMeans.

I had the privilege of meeting Bobby at the Owens Senior Center. Such a very nice man with a sweet soul. Rest in Peace my friend.
