Virginia Dale Durham, 85 of Athens passed away Friday May 6,
2022.
Service will be 2PM Tuesday at Spry Funeral Home with Toney Wales
officiating.
Visitation will be 12 noon until service time. Burial will be in
Roselawn Cemetery.
She was born January 8, 1937 in Giles County, TN. She was of
the Baptist faith, Owner/Operator of Easterferry Grocery and a Devoted Mother
and Caregiver.
She is survived by: Daughters: Candra Hicks (Micheal), Cathy
Fleming (Todd), Sons: Randy Durham, Greg Durham (Sheree) all of Elkmont,
Grandchildren: Corey Hicks, Becky Shawley, Jessica Durham, Blake Durham, Will
Fleming, Ryan Fleming, 13 Great Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews. She was
preceded in death by: Husband: Dillie Durham.

We will miss Sister so much. She was always a lot of fun and the life of any gathering. Love to all in her family.

Dustin ,Derrick and Family , I only learned of Carolyns passing yesterday and i am lost for words ...I had no idea . We all loved Carolyn very much and spent so many fun filled days and evenings when she worked with Mom and Gary at the store and came by our home often . Im sending my most sincere Condolences to you all . We were all Blessed for having ever known her . My prayers for you all . R.I.H. Carolyn , hug my family for me .
