William “Bill” Bryant Wrenn, 81 of Athens,
Alabama, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2022.
Mr. Wrenn was born December 27,
1940 in Sherman, TX. He studied Freshwater Fisheries Biology, obtaining a Bachelor’s
and Master’s degrees from Colorado State University and a Doctorate from
Virginia Tech University. After college he was employed by the Tennessee Valley
Authority from where he retired in 1994.
There will be a 3pm service Sunday at
First United Methodist in the Columbarium Gardens.
Survivors include wife of 61
years, Jackie Sue Wrenn; sister, Jane Barnes (Jerry); daughters, Kelly Jones
(Mike) and Amanda Wagnon (Brian); grandchildren, Will Johnson (Valerie), Whit
Johnson, Cadie Coffman, Thornton Garvin, Jack Garvin, Kayla Wagnon and Tyler
Wagnon; great grandchildren, Jenna Johnson, Jace Johnson, Mason Johnson,
Madeline Johnson and Colton Reavis.
Preceded in death by parents, Hershel and
Mildred Wrenn.
Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church in
Athens, AL.
