David reflected a life of JOY in Jesus. Our Birmingham grandchildren were touched by David in VBS. Our Athens grandchildren were greeted and loved by him on Sunday's and wendensday's. I personally always had grin on my face in response to something David said or did. I was amazed at how well he knew the families in our church and could recall names. David was a man who loved his family !! Renee, Haley, Hannah, and Hope you were so BLESSED!!!! My heart aches in your loss . Prayers for you during this difficult time. 🙏🏼❤️

Love,

We loved Brother David. He made such an impact on us and my children. He baptized them both. We are so thankful we knew Brother David Carter. We love you all and are praying for you daily.

Our family will miss Brother David. Our grandson, JT, and I always looked forward to coming around the corner on Wednesday night to his big smile. He had an impact on everyone that he touched. Your family will be in our prayers, thoughts and our hearts!

Even as I am overwhelmed with grief, I know David is overwhelmed with joy meeting Jesus face to face. My heart is broken and aches for you, Renee, Haley, Hannah, Hope, Mrs. Carter, Craig, and entire Carter family. David was the sweetest, most gentle, caring, and God loving man! His love for children, of all ages, was so genuine. I will always remember how he made little ones squeal with delight at his animal sounds, how he would take little buddies with him on fishing trips, and how faithful he was to lead children to know Jesus. What a faithful servant of our LORD! He was so friendly and caring and always had a smile and warm greeting for everyone. He called to check on me and pray with me often. I will miss him terribly and will always carry him in my heart and memory. Know I am praying for each of you and keeping you in my thoughts daily. Love you so much! Roxanne Hill (Ms. Roxie)

David was one of the most faithful man of God I new. We serve together over 30 years ago at Heritage Baptist Church in Huntsville. David had his priorities in order, he love God, His Family, and the ministry God had called him to. He had a way of making everyone smile and at the same time drive home the message of Jesus Christ. He will be missed, but for him he is in the presence of the King of King’s and the Lord of Lord’s, for David all thing have become new. Praying for Renee, and the Girls, Mrs. Wilma and Criag, and everyone that new him.
