Mrs.
Ruby Mae Hardy, 93 of Athens, Alabama, died Thursday, August 19, 2021 at her
residence.
Mrs. Hardy was born November 8, 1927 in Limestone County, she was a
member of First Church of Athens and she was retired from Athens Convalescent
Center.
Services will be 4PM Saturday at Spry Funeral Home Chapel with Bruce
Addison officiating, burial in New Garden Cemetery.
Visitation is from 3pm
until 4pm Saturday at Spry Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Jason Gatlin,
Dustin Gatlin, Jamey Baldwin, Zach Baldwin, Austin Brown and Keith McMahan.
Survivors: Daughters, Jewel (Larry) Simmons of Athens, Barbara (Donnie) Gatlin
of Athens and Jeannette (Steve) Williams of Athens. Seven Grandchildren.
Eighteen Great Grandchildren. Five Great Great Grandchildren. Several Nieces
and Nephews. Preceded in death by: Husband’s, Howard Junior Sullivan and Edward
Hardy.
All of her Brothers and Sisters preceded her in death.

I am truly sorry for your loss! I pray that God wraps his arms around you all and gives you the strength and comfort to get through this difficult time. Aunt Ruby was always the sweetest person to me. She is rejoicing with her family in heaven now. A guardian Angel she will be. Jeanette if you need anything sweetheart please dont hesitate to call me any time.I truly feel your pain sweet lady!
