Ricky VanHoozer, 65 of Athens, Alabama, died Tuesday,
June 29, 2021 in Madison Hospital.
A 2PM Graveside Service will be Saturday at
Bottom Cemetery with Billy Sims (Son-in-Law) officiating. Visitation is from 12noon
until 1:30pm Saturday at Spry Funeral Home in Athens.
Pallbearers will be Jeff
VanHoozer, Justin VanHoozer, Tyler, VanHoozer, Gary Spurlock, Gary VanHoozer
& Lloyd Wallace. Greg Payne is Honorary Pallbearer.
Mr. VanHoozer was born
August 8, 1955 in St. Charles, Illinois, he was a member of the Baptist Church
and a retired Truck Driver for Tri-City Gas in Florence, AL
Survivors:
Daughters: Dana (Billy) Sims of Athens and Amy Combs of Fruitland. Maryland;
Mother: Bea VanHoozer of Athens; Brother: Jeff (Teresa) VanHoozer of Athens;
Grandchildren: Hannah, Rebecca, Bella and Maddie; Aunt: Clara (Jerry) Wallace
of Lester, AL; Two Nephews.
Preceded in death by:
Wife: Majesta VanHoozer, Father: Frank VanHoozer
