Sharon Denise Brown, age 59 of Athens died Monday at Athens
Health and Rehabilitation in Athens.
Mrs. Brown was born December 29, 1961 in
Limestone County, she was a homemaker and a member of Parkview Baptist Church,
Decatur. She was a 1980 Graduate of Morgan County High School in
Hartselle.
Survivors, Husband, Tony Brown of Athens. Father, Edward
Burrough of Section, Alabama. Brother, Dewayne (Dianne) Burrough of Trinity,
Alabama. Nephew, James Couey of Athens. She was preceded in death by her
Mother, Robbie Burns Burrough. Brother, Michael Burrough. Sister, Rhonda Couey.
Services will be 1 pm Thursday in the chapel of Spry Funeral
Home with Danny Pitts and Beulah Edmondson officiating, burial to follow at
O'Neal Cemetery in Athens.
Visitation will be Thursday from 11 am until service
time at the funeral home.
Jerry Burns, Ken Burns, Jackie Burns, Jimmy Burns,
James Couey will be pallbearers.

Kirk, I was just going through some old cards and notes of my Mother, Mildred Thornton, from your Mother! So many fond memories of them, our Dads and thinking of all the fun they had together. I hope you and your family are doing well! My husband Ellis and I live in Birmingham. Hoover to be exact. We moved back in January of 2020. We lived in Baton Rouge for 22 years. My two children, Abbey and Harry Blalock live in Birmingham now too.
