Mary (Elkins) Tiller, 88 of Athens, Alabama,
died Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at her residence.
Mrs. Tiller was born February
18, 1934 in Etowah County, AL, she was a member of Berea Baptist Church in
Athens and she was a retired Hairdresser.
Services will be 2pm Saturday at Spry
Funeral Home in Athens with Pat Lawrence officiating with burial in Limestone
Memorial Gardens.
Visitation is from 12noon until service Saturday at
Spry Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Jacob Tiller, Brayden Christian, Alex
Tiller, Blake Cottrell, Aaron Wisdom and Alan Christian.
Survivors: Sons,
George William Tiller of Athens and Gary Lynn Tiller (Donna) of Lester, AL.
Grandchildren, Alex Tiller, Kristy Wisdom, Jessica Christian and Brad Tiller.
Eight Great Grandchildren. Daughter-in-law: Lisa Tiller. Several Nieces and
Nephews.
Preceded in death by: Husband, Newton Garland (Bo) Tiller. Son,
Kenneth Ray (Bo) Tiller. Daughter-in-law, Betty Tiller.
Memorials may be made
to Hospice of Limestone County.

I have lovely memories of attending church with Mary and her family from the 60s through the 80s. After then we would run into each other mostly at funerals of friends, sadly. It seems that loving care was provided her right up to her death. Thank you, Jessica and family.
