Carol Sue Moore, 70 of Athens, Alabama, died Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at Athens-Limestone Hospital.
Mrs. Moore was born February 13, 1952 in Limestone County, she was a member of Clements Baptist Church and she was a homemaker.
There will be a 2pm Graveside Service Friday at New Hope Cemetery with Tim Anderson officiating.
Visitation is from 11:30 until 1:30pm at Spry Funeral Home in Athens.
Survivors: Husband, Roger Moore of Athens. Daughter, Tammy (Russell) Haddock of Killen, AL. Grandchildren, Hayden Russell of Athens and Abby Russell of Rogersville. Great Granddaughter, Amaria Lynn. Sister, Shirley Rose of Athens. Several Nieces and Nephews.
Preceded in death by: Parents, Hollis and Estelle Kelly.

I grieve for Roger and for your family and friends that are having to go on without you. I pray God will heal the holes in their hearts created by your passing. I miss you, friend, with whom I spent many carefree hours at church, shopping, yard-saling, traveling and sight-seeing. I miss you, friend, who loved God, your family, your friends, the beach and your faithful Lucky. I rejoice there is no more fear, uncertainty or distress for you.
