Nancy Hagood Lovell, 85 of Athens, passed away on Saturday,
April 2, 2022, at Limestone Health Facility. She was born in Limestone
County on December 22, 1936, to Otha and Mable Haraway Romine.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands Richard Allen Hagood and James Earl Lovell, and her sister Corinne Carter. She is survived by her daughters Lin Smith (Vic) and Cindy Pressnell (Phillip); sons Richard Hagood (Diane) and David Hagood (Dawn); ten grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; sister Janice Hester (Gene); and stepchildren Vicki Akins, Steven Lovell, and Keith Lovell. She was a faithful member of Westview Church of Christ.

There will be a private graveside service at Athens City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to Sacred Selections, 4144 Shores Road, Murfreesboro, TN 37128. Sacred Selections provides financial assistance to Christian couples seeking to adopt children.
