Jean Casteel, 79 of Athens, Alabama, died Sunday, April 25, 2021 at her residence.
There will be a 2pm Chapel Service Wednesday at Spry Funeral Home in Athens with Terry Lamar officiating, burial in Lentzville Cemetery. Visitation is from 12noon until service Wednesday at Spry Funeral Home.
Mrs. Casteel was born June 23, 1941 in Limestone County, she was a member of Lebanon Community Church and she was a Caregiver.
Survivors: Husband: Johnny Casteel of Athens; Son: Paul (Tammy) Casteel of Athens; Daughter: Jennifer (Chirs) Craig of Athens; Brother: Clint Johnson of Athens; Sisters: Sybil Adams of Indianapolis, Indiana, Geneva Pettus of Athens and Paulette Fletcher of Indianapolis, Indian; Grandchildren: Nicholas, Jacob (Allee), Jessica (Brandon) and Emily (Dustin).
