Neysa Carol Kirk – Born March 9, 1954. Went to be with
the Lord May 6, 2021 at the age of 67, in Athens, AL.
She is preceded in death
by a son, Jason Morris Cahalan, a brother John Brewer, and her parents Roy and Jewel
Brewer.
Her relatives include her step-mother Margaret Brewer, and her husband
of 15 years Sonny Kirk. Daughters are Jacqueline Nicole Blackburn, Rebekah Ruth
Kaufmann and her husband David, Abigail Susan Kirk and her fiancé Mingo. Sons
are Nathan Ferrell Blackburn and his wife Susanne, Stephen Ross Kirk and his
wife Laura, Paul David Kirk and his wife Cassie, Benjamin Michael Kirk and his
fiancé Allie. Sisters are Rita Nelson and her husband Gene, Joan Walls and her
husband Larry, Patricia Smith and her husband Scott, and Beth Sanford and her
husband Mark. There are 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Neysa is a
born-again child of God, and a faithful member of Antioch Church. She was an
infant neuro-intensive care nurse for 35 years.
Services will be 2pm Saturday
at Spry Funeral Home Chapel in Athens with burial in Athens City Cemetery.
Visitation is from 12noon till service time Saturday at Spry Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Hunter Malone, Nathan Blackburn, Ross Kirk, David Kautmann,
Paul Kirk and Albert Hernandez.

Sonny, I pray for strength for both you and yours and Neysa's family. So sorry that I learned of this tragedy while I was out of state.
