James Alfred Sain, 55 of Tanner, Alabama, died Monday, July 5, 2021 at his residence.
Services will be 2pm Friday at Spry Funeral Home Chapel in Athens, with Rickey Lowery officiating, burial in Roselawn Cemetery.
Visitation is from 6pm until 9pm Thursday at Spry Funeral Home.
Mr. Sain was born December 28, 1965 in Decatur, AL and he was a member of the Plumbers & Steamfitters Local #760.
Survivors: Sons: Mickey Dale Sanders of Athens and Josh Hopper of Athens; Daughters: Nicole Sain of Decatur and China Wilson of Tanner; Brothers: Randy Sain of Prospect, TN and David Pitts of Hillsboro, AL; Sister: Tina Bailey of Bristol, TN; Eight Grandchildren
Pallbearers will be Josh Hopper, Mickey Dale Sanders, Nick Wilson, Cody Broadway, Chris Pitts and Trent Sanders. Honorary Pallbearers are Braxton Bailey, Eric Pitts, Braiden Wilson, Alexander Miller and Benard Alexander.

May God bless the family and give strength during this mournful time. Earth-bound stress, pain and suffering has ended and joyous heavenly reunion has begun. Think of this as only a temporary separation until we all meet again in heaven. I have many cherished childhood memories of aunt Mildred, never to be taken away or forgotten. It is sad that our physical distance away precludes us being able to embrace, hug and cry with the immediate family. However, we are there in spirit, thoughts and memory. Vanessa and my prayers are with the family. May God bless.
