James (Jimmy) Alfred Gray, 81 of Elkmont, Alabama, died Friday, July 31, 2020 at Athens-Limestone Hospital.

Mr. Gray was born January 28, 1939 in Limestone County, he was a member of the Church of Christ. He attended New Hope congregation in Athens. He was retired from Prestolite.

The family would like to give special thanks to Christi Thompson for her care.

There will be a 3pm Graveside Service Sunday at Hester Cemetery with Daniel Tucker officiating. Spry Funeral Home is directing.

Survivors: Wife, Jane Simpson Gray of Elkmont. Son, Tim Gray (Rhonda) of Elkmont. Brother, Kenneth Gray of Elkmont. Nieces and Nephews. Preceded in death by: Parents, Hubert and Ethel Gray. Son, Terry Michael Gray. Brother, Euel Gray. Sister, Jane Patterson.

Sorry to hear of Jimmy's death. We all thought so much of him when we worked for him at Prestolite.! He was a great man and boss!
