Johnie Deen Dotson - spry2

Johnie Deen Dotson, age 50 of Athens died Friday, August 7, 2020 at his residence.

Mr. Dotson was born August 5, 1970. He was the owner and operator of Dotson trucking and groundworks. Johnie was a member of New Oakland Independent Baptist Church in Athens.

Services will be 2 pm Monday in the chapel of Spry Funeral Home with Anthony Anderson officiating, burial to follow in the New Oakland Cemetery.

Visitation with the Dotson family will be Monday from 12 noon until service time at the funeral home.

Those serving as pallbearers are, Tim Carter, Donnie Carter, Jamie Carter, Jeffery Carter, Brad Sides and Brad Johnson.

Survivors include, Wife,Cindy Dotson of Athens. Daughter, Elizabeth Dotson of Athens. Step Daughter, Christy Brewer of Athens. Brothers, Ray Dotson and Phillip Dotosn both of Decatur. Sister, Angie Dotson of Decatur. Several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by, Parents, Hubert and Geneva Dotson. Three siblings survive him, and other brothers and sisters have preceded him in death as well.
