Harold Dean Hammond, 75 of Prospect, Tennessee, died Monday, June 10, 2024 at his residence.
There will be a 2PM Graveside Service Friday at Lentzville Cemetery with Ola Jane Siniard officiating.
Visitation is Thursday 6PM until 9PM at Spry Funeral Home in Athens.
Pallbearers will be Cody Huffman, Roy Posey, Ronnie Barnes, Roger Barnes, Austin Fields and Bubba Hughes; Max Cox is a Honorary Pallbearer.
Mr. Hammond was born December 8, 1948 in Limestone County, he was a retired Truck Driver and a member of the Teamsters Local #402.
Survivors: Wife: Betty Hammond of Prospect, TN; Son: Keith Hammond and wife Susan of Elkmont, AL; Daughter: Patricia Keener and husband Charles of Toretto, TN; Granddaughters: Rachel Fields and husband Austin of Athens and Abby Huffman and husband Cody of Minor Hill, TN.; Great Grandsons: Tukker Huffman of Minor Hill, TN and Elliot Huffman of Minor Hill, TN; Brothers: Jimmy Hammond and wife Eugenia of Athens and Joe Hammond of Athens, AL; Sisters: Brenda Green and husband Arthur of Elkmont, AL and Donna Wallace of Elkmont, AL;
Preceded in death by Parents: Jack V. and Flora Mae Barnes Hammond; Sister: Ann Drake.
