Jimmy Wayne Casteel, 81 of Athens, Alabama, died Thursday,
June 13, 2024 at Riverside Senior Living in Decatur.
Mr. Casteel was born
August 24, 1942 in Limestone County, he was a attended of Carriger Church of
Christ and he was retired from Flanagan Lumber Company.
Service will be 2pm
Saturday at Spry Funeral Home Chapel in Athens with Kyle Casteel, Tim Estes and
Brad Casteel officiating, burial in Lenstzville Cemetery.
Visitation is Friday
6pm until 9pm at Spry Funeral Home.
Survivors: Sons, Jeff (Tracy) Casteel of
Athens, Brad (Sandra) Casteel of Athens and Jamie (Michelle) Casteel of Athens.
Grandchildren, Tiffany Wallace of Athens, Austin Colwell of Athens, Kyle
Casteel of Athens, Alex Casteel of Athens, Austin Casteel of Athens, Whittney
Schrimsher of Rogersville, Damian Casteel of Athens and Layten Casteel of
Athens. . Great Grandchildren, Emery Belle Wallace and Sutton Axell Schrimsher.
Sister, Shirley (Wyona) Black of Athens and Doris (Johnny) Casteel. Nieces and
Nephews.
Preceded in death by: Wife, Linda Casteel.
