Martha Ann Gatlin, 80 of Elkmont, Alabama, died Friday, January 15, 2021 at her residence.

Mrs. Gatlin was born May 6, 1940 in Limestone County, she was a member of Greenbrier Baptist Church and she was a retired private sitter.

Services will be 2pm Sunday at Spry Funeral Home Chapel with Brandon Pylant officiating with burial in Hester Cemetery, visitation is from 5pm until 8pm Saturday at Spry Funeral Home.

Grandsons will be pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers are Great Grandsons.

Survivors: Daughter, Charlotte (Eddie) Alsup of Minor Hill, TN, Rose (James) King of Elkmont, Angela Campbell of Athens, Tammy (Jerry) Smith of Athens, Katrina (Brandon) McConnell of Anderson and Amy (Mike) Ceran of Athens. Grandchildren, Crystal Turner, Tony Thompson, Kody Campbell, Chris Campbell, Kelley Campbell, Jimmy Campbell, Briana Campbell, Brandy Keene, Adam (Bubba) Smith, Blake Eskridge, Jarrod Eskriddge, Landen Eskridge, Caitlyn Green, Mallory Green and Mykari Ceran. Twenty-three Great Grandchildren. Brothers, Elmer Joe (Marilyn) Murphy of Athens, Billy Frank Murphy of Elkmont, Roy Murphy of Athens and Anthony Murphy. Sisters, Marie Carter of Athens, Peggy Collins of Athens, Kathy Kimbrough of Athens, Mildred Pack of Athens and Vickie Curry of Huntsville. Nieces and Nephews.

Preceded in death by: Parents, Louise and Richard Humphrey, Father, Frank (Sarah) Murphy. Husband, Thomas Gatlin. Sisters, Betty Hastings, Susie Murphy and Joan Murphy. Brother, Albert Murphy. Grandsons, Curt Alsup and Amari Ceran.

Dep's Obituary was a true statement of his life. We enjoyed our Fri. night meals together ,at Walton's rest. ,for several years. May He Rest In Peace.

I'm James Nash Daughter (Dee Nash's Son). I just wanted to let you all know we are so sorry for the loss of Dep!!! Daddy thought a lot of him, as well as all of y'all!!! We got all of y'all in our Prayers!!! Sending Hugs and Love!!!
