Danny Ray Carter Sr., age 67 of
Athens, Alabama, died Saturday, June 20, 2020 at Athens-Limestone Hospital.
There will be a 2pm Graveside Service Thursday at Roselawn Cemetery with Glenn
Carwile officiating, visitation is from 12noon until 1:45pm Thursday at Spry
Funeral Home.
Mr. Carter was born August 13, 1952 in Limestone County, he was a
member of New Hope Church of Christ. He was retired from Dunlop Tire, a US Army
Veteran and a member of the National Guard.
Survivors: Sons: Danny Ray Carter
Jr. of Decatur and Danny Ray Carter III of Athens, Daughters: Belinda Danielle
Carter of Florence and Tiffany Nicole Carter of Decatur, Brothers: Donald E.
Carter of Hartselle and Randy Carter of Athens, Sister: Diane Carter of Athens.
Preceded in death by: Parents: Morris E. and Cleo Carter, Three Brothers and
One Sister.
