Cecil Leon Simmons, age 86 went to be with Jesus on
Wednesday, December 16, 2020.
Leon attended Hartselle High School and graduated
from Athens State University. He was the Human Resource director of Steel Case
of Athens, and Federal Mogul of Athens. He was active in many civic endeavors
and a faithful member of Lindsay Lane Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Joan Simmons, two sons,
Danny and Witt, two daughters, Lisa and Cynthia, two grandchildren,Blake and
Brittney, and one Sister and a host of friends.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
