Billy George Batrum, 79 of Toney, AL died Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at Athens Limestone Hospital. Billy was born May 26, 1940 in Limestone Co. AL to Robert George Batrum & Odell Griffin Batrum. He was a member of the Baptist Church and retired from Limestone Co. Co-Op.

Graveside Services will be Friday, 11 AM at Copeland Cemetery with Steve Hargrove officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, 6-9 PM at Spry Funeral Home.

Survivors include, Daughters, Deana Thompson of Toney, AL, Tracy Batrum Kyle of Ardmore, AL, Brothers, Douglas Batrum of Toney, AL, Norman Batrum of Athens, AL, Sisters, Betty Hovis of Athens, AL, Margaret Nash of Toney, AL, Dorothy Sorrow of Owens Crossroads, AL, Elizabeth Hopkins of Toney, AL, Kathy Davis of Prospect, TN, 3 Grandchildren & 5 Great Grandchildren

WITH deepest condolences to Jim's family, Jim and I became friends over this past year, He was the sweetest man, I will miss our conversations and the laughter. RIP, my friend , Hes with his love now. Heaven has gained a angel.
