Mrs. Nancy Louise (Harrison) Gaston, 80, of Athens, Alabama passed away Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2019, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Funeral will be 2:00 P.M at Spry Funeral Home Chapel in Athens, AL with Mark Johnson officiating.

Visitation will be 12:00 P.M. until 2PM Sunday at Spry Funeral Home. Burial in Hester’s Cemetery.
 

Nancy was a graduate of West Limestone High School and a lifelong resident of Limestone County.  She had a long and wonderful career in Office Management having worked for local companies and well as major corporations such as ConAgra and Computer Sciences Corporation. She was a current employee of 29 years, a corporate officer and co-owner of the family business, Gradkell Systems, Inc., a U.S. Dept. of Defense computer software contractor of Huntsville, AL.
 

She was known for her efforts in restoration and historical registry of her grandfather’s grist mill on Highway 99, now known as the Sim Corder / Harrison Mill on the Limestone Historical Society Register.
 

She was a loving spouse, mother and grandmother as well as caring and thoughtful neighbor and friend. Her family would like to thank the wonderful and loving staff of Athens-Limestone Hospital.
 

She was preceded in death by sister Martha Ada Harrison, Her brother, Charles Edwin Harrison, her father, Onis Joseph Harrison, her mother, Nena Lillian (Jackson) Harrison, her husband, Grady Paul Gaston, Jr., and her grandson, Nicholas Andrew Smith.
 
Survivors include daughters: Nancy Laquetta Smith of Huntsville, AL; Theresa Ann Gaston of Millington, TN; son: Grady Paul Gaston, III of Athens, AL; granddaughters: Lauren Elizabeth Smith of Huntsville, AL; Shannon Michelle Gaston of Atlanta, GA; and loving devoted partner, John Kenneth Morris of Athens, AL.

 
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
