Larry Lee Patterson, 72 of Anderson, died Sunday at Athens-Limestone Hospital.

Mr. Patterson was born August 15, 1947 in Limestone County, he was a member of Enon Baptist Church in Anderson, a veteran of the Alabama National Guard and he was retired from Monsanto.

Services will 1pm Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at Spry Funeral Home Chapel with Randy Carter officiating, burial in Bethel Cemetery in Anderson.

Visitation is from 6pm until 9pm Tuesday at Spry Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Kevin Patterson, Lee Patterson, Robert Raney, Jimmy Sandlin, Joe Sandlin and Jeremy Jones.

Survivors: Son: Kevin Patterson of Danville, AL. Daughters: Christie Raney of Anderson and Cynthia McIntear of Anderson. Grandchildren: Robert Raney, Tara Legg, Howard Douglas Lee, Cameron Raney, Victoria Patterson and Veronica Patterson. Brothers: Jerry Patterson of Elkmont and Terry Patterson of Lester. Nieces and Nephews. Preceded in death by: Parents: Arvel and Dorothy Patterson.

Tommy, Carolyn, and Beverly, I am sorry I was unable to attend Essie’s service, I had our grandchildren on Friday while their parents prepared for our trip to the beach. I am also sorry I was not able to visit with her, Linda Gail had told me Essie and Caroline were living around the corner from Rogers Street but I could not figure out which house it was. I know she is happy to be reunited with Lewis.
