Current Obituaries
Ann C. Raney, 77 of Athens, Alabama, went home to rest
with her personal Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Monday, February 22, 2021 at
her residence surrounded by her loving family.
There will be a 11am Graveside Service
Thursday at Limestone Memorial Gardens with Brent Hawkins officiating. No
Visitation is planned. Spry Funeral Home in Athens is directing.
Pallbearers
will be Daniel Greene, Austin Rouse, Wesley Gatlin, Trey Rose, Sloan Hawkins
and Hunter Hall.
Mrs. Raney was born March 18, 1943 in Limestone County to
Calvin and Letha Goode, she was a member of First Union Baptist Church and she
was retired from General Motors.
Survivors: Daughter: Lisa Greene of Athens;
Sons: Robert (Bubba) LeMay of Athens and Jason (Sabrina) Rouse of Athens; Five
Brothers and Sisters; Grandchildren; Daniel (Whitney) Greene, Madison Rouse and
Austin Rouse; One Great Grandson: Wade Greene.
She preceded in death by Parents
and Husband: Wayne Raney. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice
of Limestone County.
