Linda Gail McCurry, 71 of Athens, Alabama, died
Friday, February 26, 2021 at her residence.
Mrs. McCurry was born April 19,
1949 in Limestone County and she was retired from J & J Oil.
There will be a
2pm Graveside Service Tuesday at Limestone Memorial Gardens with Jimmy Cox
officiating. No visitation is planned. Spry Funeral Home is directing.
Pallbearers will be Joey Hobbs, Braxton Brown, Sawyer Hamilton, Shane Greenhaw,
Jamie Hamilton and Rodney Hamilton.
Survivors: Daughter, Katrina Brown of
Athens. Sons, Rodney Craig (Lindsey) Hamilton of Athens and Mika Hamilton of
Athens. Grandchildren, Meagan Dempsey, Brittany Wallen, Braxton Brown, Lily
Hamilton, Elam Hamilton, Taylor Totten, Jamie Hamilton and Sawyer Hamilton. Six
Great Grandchildren. Sister, Kay (Terry) Hobbs of Athens. Nephew, Joey Hobbs.
Preceded in death by:
Parents, Buddy & Lucille Craig. Husband, Wayne
McCurry. Sister, Robbie Neil Craig. Memorials may be made to Hospice of
Limestone County.
