Alma Delia Hernandez, 40 of Trinity, Alabama, died Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at Riverside Senior Living in Decatur, AL.

Alma Hernandez was born December 15, 1983 in Mexico.

There will be a 12noon Graveside Service Sunday at Thatch & Mann Cemetery.

No Visitation is planned. Spry Funeral Home in Athens is directing.

Survivors: Mother, Soledad Hernandez. Daughters, Mabel Hernandez, Yuzi Vega, Alya Hernandez and Itza Hernandez. Son, Byron Vega.

I will always remember Dee as such a caring and devoting person. She came into my life when she married my father Garland, when I was twelve years old. I know that she enhanced my father's life greatly and together, they were a complete couple. Over the years I visited Dee and my father in Alabama, I was fortunate to see their relationship grow and see what a comfort Dee was to my father. It was also wonderful for me to see Dee's relationship with Kayla grow over the years from a little beauty queen to a caring and devoted mother to her children and granddaughter to her Nana.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to those who loved and cared for Dee, for she will be missed.
