Vernon Ray Roberts, 68 of
Athens, Alabama, died Tuesday September 12, 2023 at Limestone Health &
Rehab.
Mr. Roberts was born October 13, 1954 in Limestone County and he was a
farmer.
Services will be 4pm Thursday at Spry Funeral Home Chapel in Athens with
Jimmy Roberts officiating and burial in Limestone Memorial Gardens.
Visitation
is Thursday 3pm until service at Spry Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Leon
Roberts, William Lindsey, Wade Miller, Jamie Nelms, Michael Miller, Tim
Faulkner and Brian Abernathy. Survivors: Sisters, Mary Miller and Neta
Faulkner. Brothers, Leon Roberts and Clayburn Roberts. Several Nieces and
Nephews.
Preceded in death by: Parents. Herman and Nellie Roberts. Brothers,
Joseph Roberts, James Roberts and D. C. Roberts. Sister, Ruby Lynn Brown.
