Franklin Whitt, 87 of Elkmont, Alabama, died Monday, November 22, 2021 at his
residence.
There will be a 2PM Graveside Service Friday at Sandlin Cemetery
with Mark Whitt officiating.
Visitation is from 12noon until 1:30pm at Spry
Funeral Home in Athens.
Pallbearers will be Lawrence Holt, Tony Holt, Roger
Black, Preston Black, Michael Dockins and Nathan Pressnell.
Mr. Whitt was born
December 11, 1933 in Limestone County, he was a member of the Church of Christ,
he was a retired Brick Mason and he was a U.S. Amy Veteran.
Survivors: Wife:
Mary Ann Whitt of Elkmont; Daughters: Sharon Pressnell of Athens and Michelle
Dockins of Athens; Brother: Don Whitt of Athens; Eleven Grandchildren; Several
Great Grandchildren.

Steve, So sorry to hear of your dads passing . He was such a sweet and witty man and I really enjoyed carrying Dad to visit with him when I could. Those two will be missed greatly by all of us. I can only imagine they have been reunited with their parents and brothers looking down on us and waiting for the day we can join them again. God Bless you and your family
