Nan Alice Rice age 97 of Anderson, Alabama died Sunday January 1, 2023 at her residence.
Mrs. Rice was born July 20, 1925 in Cookeville, Tennessee, she was a homemaker and a member of Epworth United Methodist Church in Huntsville.
A memorial visitation will be Saturday January 14, 2023 from 10:00 am until 11:30 am at Spry Funeral Home in Athens, Alabama. Inurnment will follow in Algood Cemetery in Algood, Tennessee. Memorial donations may be made to Affinity Hospice.
Survivors, Daughter, Robin (Greg) Legg of Anderson. Son, Scott Rice of Birmingham. Grandchildren, Alicia (Greg) Farricielli of St. Petersburg, Florida. Jacob (Amanda) Legg of Tremonton, Utah. Leighann Rice of Huntsville. Micah (Abby) Legg of Birmingham. Jack (Emily) Rice of Madison. Five Great Grandchildren and Two Great Great Grandchildren.
Preceded in death by, Parents, Emma Pritchard Rockwell and Robert Rockwell. Husband, Don Rice. Son, Tom Rice. Sisters, Ruby Rozell Burton Richardson. Violet Lanell Bullock. Maudine Verble Harp Bilbrey. Brothers, Tom Rockwell and Alden Rockwell.

Donnie was a member of the Decatur High School Class of 1970. Always thought he had the coolest job as bridge tender! Our sympathies to his wife and family. He'll be missed.
