Lawrence Lurman Holt - spry2

Lawrence Lurman Holt, age 83 of Athens died Monday at his residence.

Mr. Holt was born December 10, 1938 in Limestone County to Ilie and Gertie Baker Holt. Mr. Holt was a retired brick mason, an avid outdoorsman, and a jack of all trades. He was a member of Sardis Springs Baptist Church. Mr. Holt loved his family endlessly.

Memorial services will be 2 pm Sunday in the chapel of Spry Funeral Home with Tim Keenum and Keith Crouch officiating.

The family ask in lieu of flowers memorials be made to Hospice of Limestone County.

Mr. Holt is survived by his wife of 62 years, Jeanette Holt. Son, Tony (Brenda) Holt. Daughters, LaDonna (Danny) Vaughn and Tammy (Doug) Stutchman. Sisters, Dorothy Sanders and Shirley Green, Doris Spray and Lola Allison.  He is survived by his Grandchildren, Toni (Chandler) Hudson, Hope (Casey) Wood, Misti (Drew) Davis, Brittney (Sam) Chandler, Haley (Johnathan) Legg, Caleb (Ashley) Thomas and Douglas Stutchman. Great Grandchildren, Jillian Hudson, Branson Hudson, Tyson Beaty, Taylor Beaty, Barrett Wood, Deacon Wood, Shai Davis, Chloe Motter, Everli Davis, Laken Chandler, Layla Chandler, Nora Chandler, Madelyn Legg, Ellis Legg, Sophia Legg, Ford Thomas, Kendall Thomas, Riley Wellman, Kaelyn Wellman, Saniya Chambers and Major Chambers. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
