Elizabeth P. Thomas age 97 of Athens passed away Friday at the Limestone Health Facility.

Mrs. Thomas was born November 8, 1925 in DeKalb County, Tennessee, she was a homemaker and a longtime member of First Baptist Church, Athens. The family would like to thank the caregivers, nurses and staff of Limestone Health and Rehabilitation for their excellent care.

Graveside service will be 2 pm Monday at Roselawn Cemetery with Joe Teal officiating.

Visitation will be Monday from 12 noon until 1:30 at Spry Funeral Home.

Erika Donegan (Troy) Jones of Connecticut. Annabeth Donegan (Bill) Perry of Powder Springs, Georgia. Kevin Thomas of Athens. Several Great Grandchildren. Special Nieces, Terri Smith (Mark) Griffin of Athens. Michelle Smith (Talbot) Elkins of Athens. Lisa Smith (Jack) Lamon of Athens. Susan Smith (Tracy) Carpenter of Athens.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Marvin (PeWee) and Jeanette Smith. Husband, Edward L. Thomas. Daughter, Vickie Donegan. Son-In- Law, David A. LeCroix.
