Mrs. Dorothy Mae Gage, 89 of Huntsville, Alabama, died Sunday, December 12, 2021 at Madison Manor Nursing Home.

Services will be 11am Thursday at Spry Funeral Home Chapel in Athens with Larry Dryar and Wes Watts officiating with burial in Athens City Cemetery.

Visitation is Thursday from 10am until service at Spry Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Austin Price, Dustin Johnson, Matthew Johnson, Logan Peden, Bobby Harbin and Joshua Cosby.

Mrs. Gage was born October 29, 1932 in Limestone County to Clifford and Mattie Lou Jarrett. She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church.

Survivors: Son: Dennis Blizzard of Huntsville; Daughter: Sandra Harbin of Harvest; Five Grandchildren; Ten Great Grandchildren; Six Great Great Grandchildren.

Preceded in death by Daughter: Barbara Ann Harbin.

She left a wonderful Sunday spread for food. Such a welcoming person. I'm grateful to have known her in her last days.
