Cecil Lowell Stacey 82 of Athens passed away Monday,
September 27, 2021 at Athens Limestone Hospital.
Graveside Service will be
Friday, October 1, 2021 at 11AM at Poplar Creek Cemetery with James Turner
officiating.
No visitation is planned.
He was born June 30, 1939 in Limestone
County, He was a member of Poplar Creek Baptist Church, a US Army Veteran of
the Vietnam Era and retired from General Electric in Decatur.
He is survived by

AL, Grandchildren: Rachel (Cody) Arnold of Athens, AL, Jacob (Alanna) Sullivan
of Tuscaloosa, AL Eric (Erica) Dudley of Wisconsin, Great Grandchildren:
Savannah Foxworthy, Joclyn Foxworthy, Abby Foxworthy, Blake Arnold, Brothers:
Glyndell Stacey of Georgia, Leonard Stacey of Minor Hill, TN, Sisters: Doris
Green of Elkmont, AL, June Smith of Florence, AL, Several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by: Parents: Ellis and Annie Stacey, Wife: Mary
Stacey, Brothers: Marion Stacey, Delmar Stacey, Clinton Stacey, Leon Stacey,
Roy Stacey and Lloyd Stacey, Sister: Dean Stewart.
