Carolyn Coleman Haynes, 86 of Athens, Alabama, passed
away Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at Limestone Nursing and Rehab.
Mrs. Haynes was born
August 7, 1935 in Limestone County to the late O’Neal Coleman and Syble Oaks
Coleman.
Family and friends are invited to attend her service at Spry Funeral
Home Chapel in Athens at 3PM Sunday with Kasey Harbin officiating with burial
in Athens City Cemetery.
Visitation is from 2pm until service Sunday at Spry
Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Tyler Haynes, Hunter Haynes, Brett Haynes,
Neal Coleman, Heath Putman and Doug Haynes.
She was preceded in death by
husband, Raymond W. Haynes, infant son, Raymond W. Haynes Jr., her parents and
brother, William O’Neal (Billy) Coleman. Survived by her sons, Greg Haynes
(Kristina) of Harvest and Jeff Haynes (Michelle) of Birmingham.
She was the
grandmother of five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Tyler Haynes
(Philippa), Troy and Pippa of Simpsonville, SC, Brett Haynes (Kaylee), Zachary
and Oliver of Lynnville, TN, Hunter Haynes of Birmingham, Anna Haynes &
William Haynes of Harvest.
The family would like to thank Limestone Nursing and
Rehab for their outstanding care.
