Arnette Johnson Corder, 85 of Athens,
Alabama, died Thursday, May 25, 2023 at Huntsville Hospital.
Mrs. Corder was
born October 9, 1937 in Forest City, Arkansas, she was a member of First
Baptist Church in Athens, was retired from T.V.A. and Athens Limestone
Hospital.
There will be a 2pm Graveside Service Wednesday at Roselawn Cemetery
with Tee Jackson officiating. Spry Funeral Home in Athens is directing.
Pallbearers will be Josh Johnson and Brantley Johnson.
Survivors: Daughter,
Carol Johnson Shaughnessy of Huntsville. Brother, John Smith of Athens.
Grandsons, Josh Johnson of Prattville and Brantley Johnson of Huntsville. Great
Grandchildren, Sara Elizabeth Johnson, Josiah Lee Johnson and Cyrus Isiah Johnson.
Nephew, Tom Burns of Decatur, GA. Niece, Sheri Burns of Cincinnati, Ohio.
Preceded in death by: Parents, Mose and Louise Smith. Sister, Tommie Louise
Burns. Brother, Marvin Smith.

Alivia was everything to me. I miss you baby girl. I will always have memories of you. I just wish God didn't take you so soon. Thank you for letting me be your auntie. I miss you sweet girl. I don't know what happened I'm still trying to figure it out. I wanna see u again. Alivia you were always there for auntie I just wish I was there when you needed me. I'm sorry RIP
