Velma Sue Penley, 73 of Athens, died
Sunday 21, 2019 at her residence.
Mrs. Penley was born October 27, 1945
in Limestone County. She was a member of O’Neal Church of Christ and she was a
homemaker.
Services will be 2pm Wednesday at Spry Funeral Home Chapel with A.
Ray Blankenship officiating burial in Roselawn Cemetery, visitation is from 1pm
until service Wednesday at Spry Funeral Home.
Survivors: Son, Dale Penley of
Athens, two Grandchildren, Brother, W. E. Wheatley, Sisters, Mattie Pugh and Ruthie
Wheatley. Preceded in death by Son, Phillip Wheatley, Daughter, Molly Roberts.
