Sweet Renae, Haley, Hannah & Hope- I am so thankful to Jesus for allowing our paths to cross at First Baptist Grant. Our greatest memories are from the times your family ministered there. Renae, both you and David ministered in such different ways but were both equally effective. We will never forget the impact you had on all of our lives. We were talking yesterday about how David lived his life for The Lord and how blessed we were to know him. We are praying for comfort today and the days ahead. We are so sorry to hear of David's passing. David's smile, love and his commitment to the ministry to young lives were beyond amazing. Many years ago, David took scuba diving lessons with Josh and Daniel. He came several times to watch Josh and Daniel race. It was always a joy to see him. As the boys became adults with family's of their own he still kept up with them on Facebook and offered them his continued support and love. The morning of the day we lost him. We all laughed at his video truly a testament of his love. We will miss him. We will continue to keep Renee and the girls in our prayers.

You were my big brother growing up, will cherish those moments forever. I know you're sad to leave us, but I know you'd want us to be joyous for you as you're in the Lord's kingdom. I'm sure you're catching up with your dad talking about family, fishing and Alabama football. This is not a goodbye, but will miss you until we see each other again, love you brother
