Sarah Helen Thacker - spry2

Sarah Helen Thacker age 97 of Memphis, Tennessee passed away Wednesday at Apple Grove Living in Memphis.

Mrs. Thacker was born January 6, 1927 in Moscow, Tennessee. She was retired from NASA, a member of First Baptist Church, Athens. Mrs. Thacker was a graduate of Athens College and Auburn University.

Services will be 11 am Tuesday in the chapel of Spry Funeral Home, Athens. burial will follow at Maplehill Cemetery in Huntsville at 1:30 pm.

Visitation will be Monday from 6-8 pm at Spry Funeral Home, Athens.

Survivors, Son, Stanley Hightower of Chicago, IL. Step Son, Gary (Rudy) Thacker of Athens. She was preceded in death by Husbands, Joseph Palmer Hightower and Rodell Thacker.
