Melvis Lee Adams, 88 of Athens, Alabama, died
Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at Huntsville Hospital.
Services will be 1PM Saturday
at Spry Funeral Home Chapel with Robert Hall and Mark Little officiating with
burial in Pettusville Cemetery.
Visitation is from 11am until service Saturday
at Spry Funeral Home.
Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren will be
Pallbearers.
Mr. Adams was born September 11, 1933 in Limestone County, he was
a member of Tanner Church of Christ, a U.S. Air Force Veteran, a member of the Pioneer
Club and he was retired from South Central Bell.
Survivors: Sons: Ronny
Adams of Decatur and Tim Adams of Pensacola, FL; Daughter: Phyllis Putman of
Athens; Brother: Bob Adams of Athens; Sister: Wanda Kirk of Athens; Six
Grandchildren; Eleven Great Grandchildren.
Preceded in death by: Wife: Bernice
Adams; Son-in-law: James Putman.

"Aunt Jo" was a lovely, amazing lady. Always pleasant, considerate, helpful, friendly, and the list goes on. It was a blessing to know her. R.I.P.
