Ester Lee Clardy age 96, of Athens passed away Friday July
15, 2022 .
Service will be 2 PM Monday at Spry Funeral Home Chapel with Wayne
Kuykendall officiating.
Visitation will be 12 noon until service time. Burial
will be in Athens City Cemetery.
She was born June 24, 1926 in Limestone
County, Member of Marion Street Church of Christ. She was a Homemaker and
formerly employed at Athens Lingerie and Easters Cafe.
She is survived by,
Daughter: Jackie (Eddie) Gooch, Sons: Rickey (Cleo) Clardy, Mike Clardy all of
Athens, 6 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by: Parents: Jim and A.Z. Reece, 12 Siblings,
Husband: Robert Clardy, Daughters: Robbie Anne Clardy, Betty Clardy Powers,
Son-in-Law: Melvin Powers and 1 Granddaughter.
Pallbearers will be, Rickey
Clardy, Mike Clardy, Eddie Gooch, Colby Gooch, Jackie Gooch and Danny Shockley.
