Alabama, died Friday, December 30, 2022 at her residence.
There will be a 2pm
Memorial Service Saturday, January 7, 2022 at Spry Funeral Home Chapel in
Athens with Rev. Cardelia Howell Diamond officiating.
Visitation is from 1pm
until 2pm Saturday at Spry Funeral Home.
Mrs. Abney was born August 12, 1991 in
California, she was a member of Christ C.P. Church in Huntsville and she was a
employee of Snap-on-Tools in Elkmont.
Survivors: Husband: Blake Abney of
Elkmont; Sons” Samuel Bentley Thomas and Benjamin Hudson Thomas; Mother: Joyce
Thornton of Athens; Several Aunts, Uncles & Cousins.

So sorry to hear about Doris, she was always such a joy to be around. I know she's happy to be united with her Freddie, I never met him but felt like I knew him because Doris was always talking about him and the rest of the family, she dearly loved. My prayers goes out to her precious family.
