Joseph Wayne Ulrich - spry2

Joseph Wayne Ulrich, 72, of Elkmont, AL passed away 11-12-19 at his home surrounded by his loving wife and children. Born January 11, 1947 in Athens AL to Fred and Florise Ulrich.

He served his country in the Army from 1966 to 1972.  He was a skilled carpenter who enjoyed using his carpentry skills to help friends and family.  He also enjoyed gardening and sharing his love of plants with others. He retired from Aviagen in Elkmont after 35 years of employment.

Preceded in death by his parents and brother Jimmie Ulrich. He is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Cassie “Dobbie” Ulrich. Sons; Kenny Ulrich (Jessi),  Matt Ulrich (Shay) Daughters; Melissa Thomas (Toby), Jo Ann Jordan (Joey) Brothers; Jerry Williams (Dorothy), Larry Ulrich Sister; Sandy Smith (Terry) 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

No funeral service is planned.  Friends and family will be received on Sunday November 17th from 11am to 1pm at his residence followed by a family memorial at 1pm.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Hospice of Limestone County.
