John David Rollins, 65 of Athens, Alabama, died Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at his residence.

There will be a Memorial Service at a later date. Spry Funeral Home in Athens assisted the family.

Mr. Rollins was born November 14, 1955 in Alabama and he was a Truck Driver.

Survivors: Wife: Lorna Rollins of Athens; Son: Michael David Rollins; Daughters: Kimberly Michelle Rollins and Sharon Leona Kennedy; Brother: Dan Rollins and wife Barbara; Sister: Cynthia Miller; Step-children: Jelo Ramos, Joshua Ramos, Jas Ramos and Josh Ramos; Grandchildren: Brandon Alex Rollins, Miranda Swarthout, Gracelyn Rollins and Myles Kennedy.

Preceded in death by Parents: Charles Henry and Erria Vean Rollins.

Kirk, I was just going through some old cards and notes of my Mother, Mildred Thornton, from your Mother! So many fond memories of them, our Dads and thinking of all the fun they had together.
I hope you and your family are doing well!
My husband Ellis and I live in Birmingham. Hoover to be exact. We moved back in January of 2020. We lived in Baton Rouge for 22 years. My two children, Abbey and Harry Blalock live in Birmingham now too.
