Janie Marie Hillin age 63 of Athens passed away Friday October 18, 2024 at Huntsville Hospital.
She was born February 1, 1961 in Jefferson County, Alabama and was a retired publisher.
Survivors include her Sisters, Robin Cardwell of Athens. Deborah Williams of Athens. Sherry Adams of Birmingham. Niece, April Mardis of Birmingham. Nephew, Charles (Chabo) Adams of Birmingham. Great Niece, Emily Mardis. Great Nephews, Kellan Isbell and Grason Reed. Uncle, Bobby Cardwell of Birmingham. Several Cousins.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, Roy and Jewel Cardwell. Daughter, Nichole Cardwell. Son, Ryan Cardwell. Granddaughter, Ciara Marie May.
The family will have a private memorial service.

I am so sorry to hear about my dear friend Marie. We had so much fun together working at Menasha Ridge Press. We lost touch over the years since, but we she will always be my friend. I was telling a story today about how she and I took Ryan and Mason to see Aladdin. When I searched her name I found her obituary. My condolences to all of her family.
