Janice Faye Simmons, 76 of Athens, Alabama, died
Sunday, May 30, 2020 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham.
Services will be 2pm
Thursday at Spry Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Rick Craft and Mike Blakely
officiating, burial in Hasting Cemetery.
Visitation from 6pm until 9pm
Wednesday at Spry Funeral Home.
Mrs. Simmons was born January 29, 1945 in
Limestone County and she was a member of First Church in Athens.
Survivors:
Husband: Doug Simmons of Athens; Sons: Steve Simmons of Athens, Joey Simmons of
Lester and Charlie Simmons of Crossville, AL; Daughters: Tammy Davis of Elkmont
and Jammy Griffin of Elkmont; Step-Brother: Butch Corley of Franklin, TN;
Sixteen Grandchildren; Thirteen Great Grandchildren.
Preceded in death by:
Brother: Jackie Austin; Grandson: Joseph Wrangler Carroll.
Pallbearers will be
Rocky Carroll, Rusty Carroll, Daltin Simmons, Dylan Simmons, Steve Simmons and
Joey Simmons.
