Donald Bruner Riggins Sr. 86 of Athens, AL died Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at his residence.
Mr. Riggins was born October 9, 1932 in Prospect, Pennsylvania to Walter Vernon and Katherine Bruner Riggins. He was a 1954 graduate of the Pennsylvania Military College and had a long career in engineering, working for Westinghouse and NASA. He was an active member of Tanner United Methodist Church for over 25 years. He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years Marjorie Hendricks Riggins, Parents, Walter & Katherine Higgins, Brothers, Walter Riggins Jr. and William Riggins.
Services will be Sunday, June 9, 2019 at Tanner United Methodist Church at 3 PM. Visitation will be Sunday, 2 till 3 PM at the Church. Burial will be in the Roselawn Cemetery.
Survivors include, Sons: Walter Riggins & wife, Sandra of Troy, Virginia, Donald Riggins Jr. & wife, Laurel of Athens, AL, Sister: Judy Miller of Pennsylvania, Grandchildren: Jack Riggins, Ben Riggins, Madalyn Riggins, Abby Riggins, Jerry Riggins & wife, Samatha, Hillary Riggins and Addison Riggins. Great Grandchildren: Bentley Riggins, Arlo Riggins and one on the way.

So sorry for your loss. I remember him when he was very young. He was always so funny. I not going to tell you it will get better. All I can say you learn how to move forward. That what I learned when Cindy died. Sending prayers your way.
