Mrs. Cletis Idell Brooks, 86 of Athens, Alabama, died Thursday, January 27, 2022 at Athens-Limestone Hospital.

Services will be 2pm Tuesday at Spry Funeral Home Chapel with Nathan Brackeen officiating with burial in Elk River Mills Memorial Gardens.

Visitation is from 12noon until service Tuesday at Spry Funeral Home.

Mrs. Brooks was born July 24, 1935 in Limestone County and she was a member of Pleasant Valley Church of Christ. Survivors: Daughters: Debbie Romine of Athens, Diane Brooks of Athens and Sandra Walls of Athens; Son: Dwight Brooks of Athens; Step-son: Tony Brooks of Athens; Brothers: Phillip Brackeen of Athens, Keith Brackeen of Athens and Nathan Brackeen of Athens; Sister: Cornelius Pepper of Athens; Seven Grandchildren; several Great Grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: Husband: Lewie Brooks Jr.; Son: Stan Brooks.
