Aweda Hobbs White, 85 of Athens, died
Thursday, May 30, 2019 at her residence.
Mrs. White was born September 27, 1933
in Limestone County and she was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. She
worked at Athens Lingerie and retired from Athens-Limestone Hospital at the age
of 81 in November, 2014. Mrs. White was a 1951 graduate of West Limestone High
School, where she was crowned Homecoming Queen.
Services will be 1pm Saturday
at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church with Dr. Juanken Dumas officiating, burial in Mt.
Pisgah Cemetery, visitation is from 11am until 1pm Saturday at the church.
Pallbearers will be Jason Dean, Brandon Dean, Nicholas Turowski, Bradley
Barran, Amelia Martin and Sarah Barran.

Barran of Athens, Carol (Stanley) Dean of Athens and Joan (Mike) Turowski of
Athens, Grandchildren: Amelia (Kevin) Martin, Jason (Melissa) Dean, Brandon
(Linda) Dean, Nicholas (Katelyn) Turowski, Bradley Barran and Sarah Barran,
Step-Grandson: Justin Turowski, Great Grandchildren: Mallory Dean, Lexi Dean
and Kynlee Dean, Step Great Grandson: Cory Payne, Nieces and Nephews.
Preceded
in death by Parents: Charles and Lola Hobbs, Husband: Thomas Allen White,
Brothers: Charles Hobbs, Dale Hobbs, Dwight Hobbs and Joel Hobbs. Memorials may
be made to Kindred Hospice.

So sorry for your loss. I remember him when he was very young. He was always so funny. I not going to tell you it will get better. All I can say you learn how to move forward. That what I learned when Cindy died. Sending prayers your way.
