Survivors: Daughter, Janice Owen of Athens; Granddaughters, Mary Beth Byrd of Huntsville and Carrie Burgreen of Athens; Four Grandchildren; Sister, Sybil Smith of Castleberry, AL; Brother, James Owens of Louisiana.
